With an average selling price of over 13.500 a foal we can look back at in many ways a special edition of our Foal Auction 111! With this average we have beaten our record from 2019 with more than a thousand euro’s.
For the full brother or sister of El Barone 111 embryo an Irish buyer paid the top price of 28.000 euro. For all embryo’s there was a lot of interest with Chacco-Blue delivering an embryo from the direct motherline of Taloubet for 21.000 euro ending up to a Belgian-British combination. Also the other Chacco Blue embryo out of the full sister to Romeo 88 (ex-Champion of Picobello) will be moving to the UK for a price of 20.000. And the fourth embryo of our auction by Cumano from the direct motherline of Vagabond de la Pomme was sold for 17.000 euro’s and will be moving to The Netherlands.
For many of the most expensive foals at our auction it was again El Barone 111 who showed how popular he currently is. But it was a Comme Il Faut foal ending up for the top dollars of the night: Claudius 111 is a colt from the half sister to Winningmood which ended in Ukrainian hands for 28.000. For Pandora of the Keihill, a filly by El Barone 111 out of a 1.60 Cardento mare, a UK buyer ended up paying 24.000 euro’s. The filly Ulite vd Bisschop (Opium JW van de Moerhoeve x Malito de Reve) from the top breeding Stud van de Bisschop was priced at 20.000 euro and will be moving to The Netherlands. For that same price EH Lollipop Z, a colt by Emerald x Darco will remain in Belgium.
With total sales of the night at 446.000 euro’s and 33 lots sold we can look back at a very succesfull “corona-hybrid” edition for which we would like to thank our loyal buyers and breeders!
