ABOUT
For the sire of this filly foal, we turn to the quite legendary Chacco-Blue.
Chacco-Blue is the son of the stallion Chambertin, who traces back through the stallions Cambridge and Caletto I to the influential sire Cor de la Bryère. It quickly became evident that Chacco-Blue's offspring performed exceptionally well in show jumping, leading him to become a popular stallion and an incredibly successful producer of international show jumping horses.
Chianti vd Meiboom Z carries Olympic performance blood through her dam, Carthana di Magico Z. Carthana belongs to the well-established BWP damline 69. In combination with Cristallo I, she produced Call Me PS Z (competing at 1.45m level with Matteo Leonardi). Carthana di Magico is a half-sister to Diamanty di Magico Z (competing at 1.50m with Stella Trümpi) and Licardo Di Magico (1.50m with Priscilla Pigozzi Garofalo), and a full sister to the renowned broodmare Carthina Z (by Carthago).
Of course, we are familiar with Carthina Z as the dam of the Olympic stallion/top sire Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, as well as a series of international show jumping stars, including Diamanthina van ’t Ruytershof (1.60m with Constant Van Paesschen), Fragile van ‘t Meulenhof (1.50m with Lidija Grum), Gucci van ‘t Meulenhof (1.45m with Andrea Guzzo Muniz Ferreira), Ilusionata van ’t Meulenhof (1.60m with Niels Bruynseels), L’Innocence van ’t Meulenhof (1.50m with Jeroen De Winter), and Nixon van ’t Meulenhof (1.60m with Jos Verlooy)…..
In short, a remarkable list that will only become more impressive in the future!
