ABOUT
Duchess vh Distelhof Z is a unique opportunity. This filly is directly descended from the legend Darco, the father of contemporary phenomena such as Darc de Lux (Andreas Schou) and O' Bailey Van Het Brouwershof (Maikel van der Vleuten). The foal was naturally carried by the mother, without the use of ICSI or ET.
The fact that the blood of Darco is a perfect match in this lineage has already been proven by Raspoetin. He is a half-brother of the grandmother of this foal and jumped at 1.60m with none other than Ludo Philippaerts himself.
Furthermore, the mother, Jynthe Van Het Keysersbos, has already produced several good showjumping horses: Quanta Costa vh Distelhof Z (Arezzo VDL x Indoctro) was sold as a 3-year-old at the Zangersheide auction for an amount of 39,000 EUR. A Billion Boy vh Distelhof Z was recently seen in young horse competitions under the saddle of Jonna Ekberg, and Theuwi Van Het Distelfhof Z, ridden by Lennert Korsten at the age of 4, shows great promise for the future.
As the icing on the cake, Quel Honneur vh Distelhof Z (Qlassic Bois Margot x Indoctro) was approved as a breeding stallion in the BWP studbook this year.
Lastly, we also encounter a second legend in this fantastic sport lineage, Phin Phin.
