ABOUT
With El Barone 111 as sire and Berlin as damsire, El Berlino Z combines the strength of two influential stallions who both competed at major international championships.
El Barone 111, under Malin Baryard-Johnsson, achieved results up to international 5* 1.60m level. More recently, his partnership with Jens Fredricson got off to a strong start, earning placings in autumn 2023 at both Helsinki and Oslo.
The dam, Be Quick, descends from the renowned Holsteiner line 8772 and is a half-sister to the international 1.60m jumper Hotshot (by Carembar de Muze), who has competed successfully with Wilm Vermeir and later with Dieter Vermeiren. Another half-brother, Ogano’s Boy Z (by Ogano Sitte), is currently excelling in the 1.35m 7-year-old classes in the USA with Dennis Dijkerman.
Tracing back to the third generation, this line leads to the Capitol I daughter Halesia I, who is the foundation mare for several international performers, including the 1.40m jumpers Caskari T (by Cascadello I) and Enjoy I (by Cachas), as well as the premium 1.50m jumping stallion Cantari (by Cascadello).
