With Mosito van het Hellehof as sire and Indoctro as dam’s sire, Morero Z combines the blood of two highly valuable stallions, both of whom have competed at major championships.

Mosito van het Hellehof is one of the first approved sons of Elvis ter Putte and is considered one of the most promising young sires in Belgium. He descends from the dam line that also produced the stallions Action-Breaker and Quasimodo van de Molendreef. His dam, Hadise van het Hellehof (by Nabab de Rêve), is also the mother of McLain Ward’s top horse, Kasper van het Hellehof.

Mosito now competes with Brazilian rider Bernardo Alves, who consistently praises him as one of the best and most careful horses he has ever ridden. Their talent was on full display in 2022 when they finished second in the prestigious Rolex 5* Grand Prix of Knokke.

Frederique, the dam of Morero Z, is a half-sister to several successful international showjumpers, including VDL Groep Hutch (1.60m at 5* level), VDL Groep Ernest (1.50m with Lisa Nooren), the Z-approved stallion VDL Groep Cassanova Z (a finalist at the World Championships for 7-year-olds in Lanaken who went on to have an international career), and VDL Groep Cavaro (1.40m). This Holstein dam line 7091 has produced many more top performers, such as Pikeur Calanda (5*, 1.60m, Franz-Josef Dahmann), Cogito, and Lamaro.
