Few breeding stallions have made such a major impact in such a relatively short period of time as Uriko. At the age of 18, he has already established a highly influential sire line, with several outstanding sons and approved grandsons. Many of his offspring have proven themselves in the sport and are now firmly established at international 1.50 m and 1.60 m level. These include his son Uricas van de Kattevennen, Bull Run’s Jireh, and CCS Uriko, all competing at 1.60 m level.

The grandsire, Aktion Pur Z, competed at 1.60 m level under Judy-Ann Melchior of Belgium.

The granddam, Lanzarote DV, by Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, is a half-sister to the 1.65 m Grand Prix horse Kriskras DV, who competed with Bart Bles and Jur Vrieling and is currently ridden by Abdullah Alsharbatly. Lanzarote DV has also produced the international show jumpers Chicago DV, Cash Flow DV, and Celine DV.

The great-granddam, Courteney, by Kashmir van Schuttershof, produced not only Kriskras DV, but also Gucci DV, who competed at 1.50 m level with Pieter Devos, and Heros DV, who competed at 1.40 m level with Caroline Devos-Poels. Courteney is also a half-sister to the BWP-approved coloured stallion Eddy Wally, who competed at CCI4* eventing level.
