WALIED             Colestus × Lupicor × Calypso I

Walied is a light-footed, blood-type son of the international showjumping stallion Colestus, himself a son of the legendary sire Cornet Obolensky. Colestus competed successfully at the highest international level with Ludger Beerbaum and later with Christian Kukuk.

Today, Colestus is rapidly establishing himself as a leading sire. He consistently passes on the qualities that made him exceptional: athleticism, light-footedness, outstanding reflexes, and exceptional carefulness over the fences. A growing number of his offspring have proven themselves at the highest level of the sport, including:

Greya (dam by Contender) – 1.60 m with Kent Farrington, winner of the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen.

Classic Dream (dam by Inster Graditz) – 1.60 m with Christian Ahlmann.

Colestina H. (dam by Cardenio) – 1.60 m with Daniel Bluman.

Colmar (dam by Quidam's Rubin) – 1.60 m with Shane Breen.

Jiminy Cricket (dam by Cornet Obolensky) – 1.60 m with Nayel Nassar.

Colonello (dam by Cassini I) – 1.60 m with Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen.

Constantin 110 (dam by Quidam de Revel) – 1.60 m with Sara Vingralkova (CZE).

In addition, several sons of Colestus have already been approved as breeding stallions by various studbooks.

The dam, Zarina M., also competed successfully at 1.30 m level and holds the Dutch predicates D-OC, Elite, Prestatie, and Sport (Showjumping). She has also proven herself as an outstanding broodmare, producing three international showjumpers:

The maternal line of Zarina M. traces back to a highly successful performance family that has produced numerous national and international showjumpers, including:

Gsarset – International Grand Prix level.

Imar Z – International 1.45 m with Ahmad Asiri (Saudi Arabia).

Evita – International 1.50 m with Camilla Franci (Italy).
