ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL EDITION!

Many spectators and enthusiasts had come to the horse mecca of the Hazebroek family. Both the beautiful weather and the pleasant atmosphere were once again present last Saturday at the second Foal Auction 111 of the year. At our now familiar location the Azelhof in Lier it was nice to be at the crowded VIP and next to the auction ring.

The auction topper of the evening was, just like during our first auction, once again a descendant of the Olympic Ermitage Kalone. This colt with the very appropriate name Eye Catcher de Jolie Z of the De Backer family could count on a lot of interest both online and on the auction floor and was eventually sold by the auctioneer for 24,000 to a buyer in Hungary.

The foal Awesome Key Z of the Sleutels family emerged as reserve topper. This modern and appealing Aganix de Seigneur son with Meulenhof genes on his mother's side was knocked down for a price of 21,000 euros and is moving to a regular customer in the United States.

And on 3 it was again a son of Aganix that did well with the buyers. Amaretto NN Z was one of the youngest from our collection, but that did not stop a well-known buyer from the United States from bringing him to his stables. This bloody colt with a lot of charisma from the Roosakker lineage was knocked down for 17,000 euros.

With an average of just over 12,000 euros, both buyers and sellers could look back with satisfaction on a beautiful auction evening where we again managed to sell almost all the foals; in the end only 3 of the 35 foals went home with the breeders. Furthermore, we received compliments from many buyers for the fact that we started to mention the method of fertilization/pregnancy (ICSI, ET or natural pregnancy) in both our catalogue and on the website, as we notice that more and more buyers attach great value to this and we want to be as transparent as possible towards them.

In the meantime, we are already in full preparation for our next edition, which will again take place at the Azelhof during the CSI 3* AS111 Summer Festival Tour on Saturday 24 August.
