Filly edition 111 once again a success!

Last Saturday proved once again that our unique concept of auctioning only fillies is a successful formula. With 26 fillies and 4 embryos we had a beautiful collection ready for the big turnout which, due to the weather conditions, was moved at the last minute to the cozy indoor accommodation of the Azelhof in Lier.

The auction bestseller of the evening was the very beautifully True Love du Buisson Z. This daughter of Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve comes from the line of the Van de Mortel family from which many top sports horses have already emerged. After a tough bidding battle between 4 buyers, it was a buyer from the United Kingdom who eventually got awarded this foal for 25,000 euros.

There were no less than 3 foals that were sold for 23,000 euros. The first in this list is the very bloody Beauté v/d XXLLNTFarm Z, a Balou du Reventon daughter from the successful Padenborre lineage. This foal did not steal its name and a buyer in the United States had also noticed this, who eventually managed to purchase the foal.

A second foal at this price was Calgot van 't Reevediep, a very strong moving bloody Chacco-Blue foal. And as the name already betrays, she comes from the successful lineage of the WEG winner Liscalgot. This foal will also not stay in Belgium but will move to South America.

And the third in this list is the Emerald daughter Batida Kattenheye Donkhoeve. There was a lot of interest for this very strong looking filly from the successful Kattenheye stud farm of Tony and Mieke Raman out of the full sister of Don Juan van de Donkhoeve, both on the auction floor and online, and it were buyers from Brazil who ultimately placed the highest bid.

The embryos were also in demand. For the United Touch out of the mother of GP winner Mumbai, was sold for the price of 42,000 euro, with which this future filly will remain in Belgium.

With an average of just over 15,000 euros and only a single foal bought back, we can once again look back on a successful auction, the last of our 3 foal auctions of this year. We would like to sincerely thank our buyers, bidders, breeders and everyone who contributed to this beautiful evening. The year finished in beauty, which motivates us to be there again next year with some very nice collections of our Foal Auction 111!
