ABOUT
Estrella de Lucia Z is a stunning filly with tremendous presence and an impressive engine.
The sire of this star is the promising young stallion Extreme 111 Z. During the 2022 stallion competition, this son of the top stallion El Barone 111 Z was crowned champion of the 4-year-olds. He also performed flawlessly in the final of the Belgian Championship in Gesves that same year! In 2024, Extreme 111 Z led the standings after 3 brilliant rounds in the stallion competition, and in the final, he jumped to a fifth place. This secured him a well-deserved second place in the overall ranking for 6-year-old stallions.
On the dam's side, Estrella de Lucia Z comes from the mare Dida, who is sired by Codex (Carthago x Cor De La Bryere) out of the mare Feeling (Goldstern x Argentan I).
The first dam, Feeling, has produced two approved stallions. Alco jumped up to 1.50m under the saddle of Julien Epaillard, and Codex Junior performed at the 1.60m level with Bruno Chaves Pessanha.
All of Dida's oldest offspring can be found in the sport, with the mares being used both for sport and breeding. Notably, the beautiful mare Night of Glory O.L., who is currently competing at the 1.60m level with Harriet Biddick, was sold at the Holger Hetzel auction in 2018 for no less than 500,000 euros at the age of 8, having already been classified in the 1.45m classes.
The horses from this line not only have a passion for sport but also possess an excellent disposition.
